Abolutely lovely laptop. The negative issues which I have noticed:
br /* quiet speakers -- but apparently this can be changed in settings, saw some reviews somewhere saying how
br /* bad microphone -- you need to be very close to it for people to hear you. Otherwise it breaks up and just snippets get transmitted. Perhaps this can also be adjusted, but have tried the obvious controls without success. Camera great though -- image over skype very clear and natural.
br /* keyboard a little annoying -- especially if you're used to the good solid chunky keys of old Dells. The one here bends in if you press hard while typing and has a flimsy feel. Also, I type moderately fast and with the flatness of the keyboard my fingers tend to just glide along the keys -- it keeps missing letters I press. This is the most annoying so far, hope my typing will adjust -- perhaps each key needs to be pressed more vigorously. This might not be a problem for everyone, depends on your typing style.

br /But great battery life, gorgeous design, sleek, light, beautiful, quiet. Would definitely recommend if the above issues are not too serious for you!

We were in the market for a lightweight, decently spec'd laptop as a graduation gift for our high schooler. We presented her with her cool new laptop however we were all quickly disappointed as the laptop immediately began displaying error messages about overheating and then subsequently turning off. We returned the laptop to Amazon and purchased a Sony from Costco instead as we didn't have faith in the durability of this particular laptop. Be advised that when you return a laptop to Amazon it can take a month or more to get your money refunded which seems ridiculous to me. I purchase from Amazon all the time however I would have had less of a hassle purchasing locally from the start.

I read all the reviews up through early March (then I bought the laptop) and I can now add the following:

br /The sound is great compared to my other small laptop - you do need to go in and turn up the equalizer in the smart sound settings to get full volume though.

br /The touchpad works fine - no issues. Some people may not have been used to the two finger zoom, and scrolling features...

br /Battery life is awesome and the screen is beautiful.

br /The speed is great and everything works fine for the most part. The only two things I have an issue with are:

br /1. Occasionally, the wireless seems to lose connection very briefly when I first navigate to a page - and when I refresh the browser it works fine... Could be the browser or my home network. In any case only a minor nuisance and probably not a hardware problem in the laptop.
br /
br /2. The screen angle does not tilt back as far as I would like for when I am standing and looking at it on the kitchen counter - needed another inch back or so. Again a very minor nuicance.

br /Overall I would recommend this laptop, best one I have ever had.

I researched my purchase for several weeks and finally bought this model in early March. This model has it all--lightweight, resolution, 64 bit windows, bluetooth, speed and a great battery. I debated buying the NB305-410BL netbook. I'm glad I bought this slightly larger computer because it's has all the qualities of a netbook with better performance, resolution and potential. I have not had any technical issues. I went to the Toshiba website and ensured it had all the latest drivers and software. I did have to update the sound driver for the sound level but it was no problem. I recently purchased a Mobile Edge case .Mobile Edge MESSM7-13 13-Inch Neoprene SlipSuit (Red) to protect it. The case is made for the Macbook but fits great around this T135-S1310 plus it has a pocket for some smaller devices. The AC cord will not fit but I store it in another area when I travel. I definitely would purchase this product again
