Light weight at a reasonable cost September 3, 2010

I have used this laptop for business (document creation, networking applications and light coding). This laptop has performed excellently. It should be noted that my company formats all machines and installs from scratch so I can not comment about any pre-installed items.

br /One item to note: This laptop actually has three USB ports. Two standard looking USB ports on the right and a combination USB/eSATA on the right that most people do not notice. This USB/eSATA port is supposed to remain powered when the machine is shut down but that may be a software or BIOS option as it does not seem to work for me.

br /My biggest complaint about this machine is the low number of horizontal lines. At only 768 lines it seems as if I am always scrolling in documents and code. This laptop easily drives a large external monitor minimizing this complaint for me.

br /1. Arrived with one pixel turned on ALL the time (A dead pixel) very annoying for a new laptop!
br /2. Only 2 USB ports. Both placed up front on right side. Just perfect for getting a mouse cord tangled.
br /3. Pre-installed Windows 7 but no DVD. Only a Hard Drive sector with a restore.
br /4. Can't partition hard drive as I WANT IT. Had to buy a new Windows 7 Software to be able to reformat partition as I want it.
